SBINFT Confirms NFT-Enhanced Entertainment Tour in Japan in Collaboration with Lawson Ticket and Lawson Travel

By entering into an agreement, SBINFT will provide NFT services through Lawson Ticket, which is run by Lawson Entertainment, using its marketing platform “SBINFT Mits.” Through this agreement, Lawson Ticket and Lawson Travel hope to assist Japan’s first entertainment tour enhanced by NFTs. The partnership makes use of SBINFT’s knowledge and resources for NFT distribution and planning.

Overview of the “SBINFT Mits” Marketing Network

“SBINFT Mits” is a full-featured marketing tool made to show how fans interact with NFTs. Because it makes it possible for businesses to create communities and engage with fans directly, it helps with fan nurturing and acquisition. With capabilities like survey tools and bulk NFT distribution, the platform enables firms to use NFT-based marketing without the need for specific Web3 knowledge.

New “SBINFT Mits” Ticket-Tearing Function

At the end of August, SBINFT launched a new “ticket-tearing function” in response to user requests. The flexibility with which NFTs can be included into marketing and consumer engagement initiatives is increased by this feature, which enables NFTs distributed by “SBINFT Mits” to be utilized as tickets or coupons.
The Use of NFTs by Lawson Ticket to Improve Customer Experience
Using SBINFT’s technology, Lawson Ticket has been providing ticket buyers with commemorative NFTs since December 2022. This has allowed them to offer cutting-edge digital experiences. In partnership with METACULTURES (MCS), a blockchain enterprise specializing in musical intellectual property in Korea, and Lawson Travel, an entertainment tour operator, Lawson Ticket looked for additional ways to improve customer satisfaction with NFTs, specifically for Korean entertainment tours.

SBINFT’s suggested NFT Utilization Plans

Lawson Ticket and MCS were presented with two creative concepts by SBINFT to further incorporate NFTs into their services:
1. Proof of Concept Plan: Under this plan, “SBINFT Mits” will be used to distribute NFTs to product buyers in Japan prior to the start of the tour. After then, these NFTs can be “torn” to become tickets for Korean entertainment events.
2. NFT Discount and Gift Plan: During the period of November 22, 2024, to June 22, 2025, MCS-affiliated eateries and cafés in Seoul will provide discounts and presents to NFT holders (who will receive NFTs individually after returning from the tour).

Novel Approaches to Utilize NFTs as International Tickets and Discounts

These pioneering efforts in Japan include the distribution of NFTs as tickets in Korea and the provision of NFT-based gifts and discounts. They complement the approach taken by Lawson Ticket to infuse digital technologies into entertainment services in order to generate fresh user experiences.

NFTs’ Potential to Increase Product Value in the Future

If this proof of concept is implemented successfully, it may open the door for NFTs to be utilized internationally as discount coupons or tickets. If successful, adding digital components to Lawson Ticket’s current goods might increase their value and provide clients with fresh, distinctive experiences. Thus, the use of the “SBINFT Mits” platform as well as both of SBINFT’s ideas were approved.
