Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — January 2026 — Open World has officially launched Saudi Arabia’s first Real-World Asset (RWA) Tokenization Center of Excellence, marking a major milestone in the Kingdom’s push to accelerate its digital economy under Vision 2030.
The new Center of Excellence is designed to support the tokenization of real-world assets such as real estate, commodities, infrastructure, and financial instruments by leveraging blockchain and distributed ledger technologies. The initiative aims to modernize capital markets, improve liquidity, and enable broader access to investment opportunities across the Kingdom.
According to Open World, the center will serve as a hub for research, innovation, regulatory collaboration, and enterprise adoption, bringing together government stakeholders, financial institutions, technology providers, and academic partners. It will focus on developing best practices, compliance frameworks, and scalable tokenization models aligned with Saudi regulations.
The launch supports Saudi Arabia’s broader strategy to become a regional leader in fintech, digital assets, and Web3 innovation, while ensuring strong governance and investor protection.
