LayerZero gave Pudgy Penguin holders ZRO tokens in July 2024. In line with Pudgy Penguins’ mission to promote cross-ecosystem communication, LayerZero is a protocol created to enhance omnichain interoperability. ZRO coins hit an all-time high of $7.47 by December 2024. Each NFT received 100 ZRO tokens, resulting in a peak airdrop value of $747 per NFT.
