Claynosaurz Ventures Beyond Solana, Launches NFTs and Game on Sui Blockchain

Token2049 in Singapore  Basecamp Sui  The well-known NFT entertainment company Claynosaurz, which is well-known on Solana for its animated animals, is branching out into the Sui blockchain.  The statement, which was revealed at Token2049’s Sui Basecamp event, is a major milestone in the company’s goal to create a more extensive digital entertainment ecosystem.

CEO Andrew Pelekis shared that this move isn’t about abandoning Solana, but rather amplifying Claynosaurz’s reach by embracing a multichain approach. “We’re not moving chains—we’re expanding to shape the future of entertainment,” Pelekis said. “Sui offers a scalable, flexible foundation that empowers us to build immersive and frictionless entertainment products for everyone—from crypto veterans to newcomers.”

The expansion follows a March announcement that Claynosaurz would utilize Walrus Protocol, a decentralized storage solution developed by core contributors to Sui, as the foundation for its new initiatives.

Claynosaurz’s original NFT collections, including its Genesis series, will remain on Solana. “That’s their provenance,” emphasized Nicholas Cabana, Claynosaurz’s Co-Creative Director. However, all upcoming experiences—new characters, games, and community-based initiatives—will be built using Sui.

The first rollout includes a cross-platform achievements system designed to reward users for engagement through gameplay, collecting, and creativity. While existing Solana NFTs will still play a role, the new achievement badges will be minted on Sui. The system will also introduce a “soft staking” feature, allowing users to earn rewards from both blockchains.

Later this month, Claynosaurz will introduce Popkins—a 25,000-character expansion on Sui. Rather than using a traditional minting process, the launch will involve themed booster packs, which offer a chance (but no guarantee) to receive a Popkin. Packs will also include perks like in-game cosmetics and discounts. If no Popkin is included, users will find one of nine collectible species cards instead.

With plans to support Sui’s future handheld console, SuiPlay0X1, Claynosaurz is preparing to deliver its first mobile game for iOS and Android later in 2025.  While the blockchain components will be concealed from casual players, the game will nevertheless have a fully built universe and real-time monster battles, guaranteeing accessibility without compromising Web3 integration.

The company claims that the shift to Sui is about combining technological innovation with narratives that are driven by the community.  Complete information about the new experiences’ minting, cost, and distribution is anticipated soon as Claynosaurz continues to develop its next phase.
